“Not on our patch” cried the Christians bold,
As they guarded their turf, their hearts turned cold.
But what of the Muslims, the Jews and the rest I say?
Don’t they deserve a place to worship, rest and play?
“Not on our patch!” Cried the Hindus with pride,
As they protected their temples, side by side.
But what of the Buddhists, the Sikhs and the more?
Don’t they deserve a space to pray and adore?
“Not on our patch!” cried the voices so loud,
As they build walls and barriers so tall,
And to let love and compassion guide us through it all.
For we are all one, beneath the same heaven on high
And our patches are woven, into beautiful tapestry.
God is good, God is everywhere … it is wisdom and knowledge,
Joy peace and love that takes us all to the God consciousness and
At the bottom of the pit …
To those that pull the trigger … there lies the insanity of it all …
History has shown us the way down … so let’s get those boots on and walk our way home!
